How It Works: #
- The Client Portal is a central dashboard for each client where they can:
- See their projects
- Track their invoices, contracts, support tickets, etc.
- Access any module you’ve enabled for them
- The Projects module is a backend tool for your team, where you manage tasks, deadlines, files, milestones, time tracking, and link them to specific clients.
🔗 How Projects Appear in the Client Portal: #
When a project is created and assigned to a customer, it becomes visible to that customer in their Client Portal, under the “Projects” section.
They can:
- View progress, tasks, deadlines (based on what you allow)
- See milestones and % completed
- Comment or reply to discussions
- Upload/download related files
🧩 Permissions You Control: #
In Setup > Settings > Customers
, you can define:
- Whether clients can see projects
- If they can view tasks or only the overall project status
- Whether they can leave comments, upload files, etc.
