π What is the Client Portal? #
The Client Portal is a secure, web-based area within Intellent CRM where your clients (customers) can log in, view their information, interact with your team, and manage their accounts, documents, projects, support tickets, and more.
Itβs an automated self-service hub that reduces manual communication and keeps everything organized in one place.
π Key Features of the Client Portal #
When a client logs in, they can:
1. View Dashboard #
- See a snapshot of their account: invoices, proposals, projects, support tickets.
- Review recent activity or updates.
2. Manage Invoices & Payments #
- View all invoices issued to them.
- Pay invoices online (if a payment gateway is integrated).
- Download or print PDF copies.
- View invoice status (Paid, Unpaid, Overdue).
3. Track Estimates & Proposals #
- View, download, and accept/reject estimates.
- Digitally sign proposals (if enabled).
- Leave comments or request changes.
4. Access Contracts #
- Review any contracts sent to them.
- Digitally sign if required.
- Download for their records.
5. Monitor Projects #
- See the progress of active projects.
- View tasks, milestones, deadlines.
- Participate in discussions or leave feedback.
- Upload/download project-related files.
6. Submit and Track Support Tickets #
- Create new support tickets.
- Track the status and internal responses.
- Reply directly within the portal.

π§βπ» How to Enable and Grant Portal Access #
Step 1: Add a Customer #
Go to Customers > New Customer
and fill out the relevant details.
Step 2: Create a Contact #
Each customer must have at least one contact (an individual user with login credentials).
- Go to the Contacts tab within a customer profile.
- Click βAdd Contactβ
- Add name, email, phone, and tick the checkbox:

- β “Allow login to the client portal”
The user will receive a link to set their password and log in.

You can white-label and customize the experience:
